I am a politics reporter for the Houston Landing, where I cover Houston area government and elections in a way that is accessible to the city’s many residents. Before moving to Houston, I was a Baton Rouge City Hall reporter for The Advocate in Louisiana.

Since graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism degree in 2019, my career has taken me across the country, including a post-graduate fellowship with the Dallas Morning News covering the Texas Congressional delegation in Washington, D.C. 

My reporting has also appeared in the Texas Tribune, the Houston Chronicle, the San Antonio Express-News and the Austin American-Statesman, among others.
